Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Cary is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Cary follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I would have really enjoyed it EXCEPT we were put in a room outside of the pool and fire pit. Till 1am there was still people outside making noise. We called the front desk at nearly midnight because some group.of people had their kids playing with balls literally outside my window and you can hear the adults, I think they even had music going till late. The front desk spoke to them but it didn't stop. When you get a place to stay it's because you need somewhere to sleep. I just wish they prioritized their sleep customers over the ones that want to party.

We stayed for one Sunday night in June. Check-in was quick, the room was clean and nice with a bedroom and a door separating it from the kitchen and living area. Reasonable rates. Good location, convenient to 64/US 1 and then to I-40/440. Plenty of restaurants within a few miles, not much to walk to though.

First time staying at this location for business for a week. Normally our company recommends the Homewood suites nearby but that place has become less desirable for me and my many colleagues. This Sonesta location will be my personal recommendation from now on due to spaciousness, cleanliness, location near my company and everything else. The staff were friendly and check-in and checkout were quick. I stayed in a two bedroom suite and full kitchen even though I didn’t need all that space by myself. The price was equivalent to your Holiday Inn, Marriott, Doubletree, and Hilton but double the space. I’m going to assume this place is pet friendly since I saw a few people with dogs. I would highly recommend this place.
